T. Johnson Released From Jail

Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tank Johnson was released from prison Sunday after serving half of a 120-day sentence for violating his probation in a gun case. He was released for good behavior.

Johnson is scheduled to have a hearing Wednesday in New York before NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Owners of several NFL teams and executives in the league familiar with the case have said in recent weeks that they expect Goodell to suspend Johnson for much of next season for violating the league's conduct policy.
