T. Johnson's Hearing Set for Next Wednesday
Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tank Johnson is scheduled to have a hearing before NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell next Wednesday in New York.
Johnson is completing a 120-day jail term for violating his probation in a gun case. Several NFL sources familiar with Johnson's case have said in recent weeks that they expect Goodell to suspend Johnson for much or all of next season for violating the league's conduct policy.
Goodell already has suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam (Pacman) Jones for all of next season and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry for the first half of it. Goodell is to hear Jones's appeal of his suspension Friday in New York.
