Walker Trade Makes Sense for Both Bills, Bears

The Buffalo Bills solved a problem and the Chicago Bears filled a need with Sunday's trade of defensive tackle Darwin Walker from Buffalo to Chicago for a draft pick next spring.

The Bills had obtained Walker in a March trade with the Philadelphia Eagles that sent linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb to Philadelphia. But Walker had refused to report to the Bills, wanting his contract to be renegotiated.

The Bears, meanwhile, needed help at defensive tackle after releasing the suspended Tank Johnson.

Don't we need a defensive tackle? Isn't giving up a 5th rounder for a starter a steal?
