Panthers Get Safety Help in Trade With Bears

The Carolina Panthers bolstered their secondary today by trading a fifth-round draft pick next spring to the Chicago Bears for safety Chris Harris.

Harris made 20 starts the past two seasons but was deemed expendable by the Bears because they traded for Washington Redskins safety Adam Archuleta in the offseason and are getting back veteran Mike Brown from an injury.
