Titans Sign C. Simon
Defensive tackle Corey Simon agreed to a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans.
Simon was released by the Colts four weeks ago after failing a physical. The former Pro Bowl selection for the Philadelphia Eagles missed all of last season after playing the 2005 season for the Colts.
"Corey brings a combination of run-stuffing size and pass-rushing ability to the defensive tackle position," Titans General Manager Mike Reinfeldt said in a written statement released by the team. "Prior to last season, he has been a consistent and productive player who contributed to playoff teams and we are excited to see him get a second chance here with the Titans to prove he still has that ability."
