Bengals Could Be Without R. Johnson Monday Night

The Cincinnati Bengals could be without tailback Rudi Johnson for Monday night's game against the New England Patriots because of an ailing hamstring.

The loss of Johnson could be a severe blow to the Bengals as they try to keep pace with the Patriots in what could be a high-scoring game. The Bengals are lacking depth at running back because of injuries to rookie Kenny Irons and Chris Perry.

Kenny Watson probably would start in Johnson's place.

Watson had two 100-yard rushing games as a fill-in starter for the Washington Redskins in 2002 when Stephen Davis was hurt.
