Bulger Playing Despite Two Broken Ribs

St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger has been playing with two broken ribs since being sacked six times by the San Francisco 49ers in the opening game of the season.

The Rams are winless and are one of the league's bigger disappointments, but Bulger told reporters Wednesday that the injury is not hindering his throwing.

The club has managed only two touchdowns in three games and will be without tailback Steven Jackson for a few weeks because of a groin injury.
