Delhomme Misses Panthers' Practice

Quarterback Jake Delhomme sat out the Carolina Panthers' practice today because of the strained right elbow he suffered last weekend against the Atlanta Falcons.

David Carr replaced Delhomme last weekend and would take over as the Panthers' starter this week if Delhomme is unable to play.

Often fans do not really appreciate a player until that player is absent from the line-up. Often, absence does make the heart grow fonder.
