Eagles to be Without L. Sheppard Against Redskins
The Philadelphia Eagles will be without two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Lito Sheppard when they face the Washington Redskins on Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field.
Sheppard suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee during Sunday's loss at Green Bay. It's not clear how long he'll be sidelined but Coach Andy Reid said during his news conference today that he doesn't expect Sheppard to play against the Redskins.
Such injuries typically sideline a player for at least two weeks. William James is to replace Sheppard as the starter at the cornerback spot opposite Sheldon Brown.

It won't matter much if Moss shows up wearing the concrete gloves again.
