Everett Being Moved to Houston Hospital

Buffalo Bills tight end Kevin Everett is being moved today to a Houston hospital to continue his rehabilitation from the life-threatening spinal cord injury that he suffered while making a tackle on a kickoff during the opening game of the season against the Denver Broncos.

Everett lives in Houston and is being moved to be closer to home. He had been in the intensive care unit of a Buffalo hospital.

He has regained some movement in his legs, arms and hands after doctors initially said it was unlikely that Everett would walk again. They have offered a more optimistic prognosis as Everett has demonstrated progress.
