Bucs Lose Another Running Back
A week after losing starting tailback Carnell (Cadillac) Williams to a season-ending knee injury, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost replacement Michael Pittman to an ankle injury suffered during Sunday's loss at Indianapolis.
Pittman is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks. Earnest Graham takes over as the starter.
Last week, Buccaneers officials inquired about the availability of retired running back Corey Dillon and offered a sixth-round draft choice to the Minnesota Vikings in a proposed trade for Mewelde Moore, but were rebuffed both times.
