Croyle Could Take Over as Chiefs' Starter This Week

Second-year quarterback Brodie Croyle could take over as the Kansas City Chiefs' starter this week.

Damon Huard suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and was scheduled to undergo an MRI exam today. Croyle took over against the Jaguars and threw a late touchdown pass to avert a shutout.

The two competed for the starting job during the preseason.
