Fox Still Won't Name Panthers' Starter
Quarterback David Carr participated in the Carolina Panthers' practice, and Coach John Fox indicated that Carr will play on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts if he's healthy.
But Fox stopped short of naming Carr the starter. Vinny Testaverde started in Carr's place, with Carr sidelined by an ailing back, in the Panthers' most recent game and beat the Arizona Cardinals. The Panthers are coming off a bye week and Fox has refused to pick a starter.
