Game Time Could Change Monday Night in Denver
The NFL plans to move up the starting time of Monday night's game in Denver if there's a World Series game in the city that night.
Game 5 of the World Series between the Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox is scheduled for Monday. If the best-of-seven baseball series reaches five games, the ESPN telecast of the Broncos-Green Bay Packers game Monday will begin at 8 p.m. Eastern instead of 8:30.
The Broncos reportedly had inquired about moving their game to Sunday. Instead, the game time would be changed to try to alleviate traffic problems at Invesco Field at Mile High and Coors Field.
