Leftwich Undergoes Ankle Surgery
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Byron Leftwich underwent surgery today on his injured right ankle.
Leftwich, suffering from a high ankle sprain, had two screws inserted into his ankle and Falcons officials hope he will be able to play again in 3-4 weeks. Joey Harrington will reclaim the starting job in Leftwich's absence.
