Legal Maneuverings Reportedly Will Keep T. Henry Eligible to Play for Broncos At Least Three More Weeks

Tailback Travis Henry apparently will remain eligible to play for the Denver Broncos for at least three more weeks while legal maneuverings take place in his attempt to keep the NFL from suspending him.

Henry is challenging the league in court, reportedly over a failed drug test that has him facing a possible one-year suspension. The federal judge in New York who's overseeing the case has given the two sides three weeks to file motions and responses, according to court records cited by the Denver Post.

Henry reportedly tested positive for marijuana but is accusing the league in court of failing to follow its drug testing procedures properly.

The Broncos have a bye this weekend.
