M. Nolan Scheduled to Coach 49ers Tonight
Mike Nolan is scheduled to coach the San Francisco 49ers tonight against the Seattle Seahawks.
Nolan left the team Friday and Saturday to be with his father, Dick Nolan. The former NFL coach died Sunday after suffering from declining health for several years because of prostate cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Dick Nolan, who was 75, had been living most recently at an assisted-care facility near Dallas.
Mike Nolan convinced NFL officials to allow him to wear suits on the sideline for several games last season in part as a tribute to his father.

All the best to you Mike. Your father was a great NFL'er.

I've always thought that NFL coaches ought to have to wear suits on the sidelines. They'd look much more professional. And maybe a few of them would be tempted to take off a few pounds.
