Receiver Shortage Worsening for Colts

The Indianapolis Colts' shortage of receivers is worsening.

Wideout Marvin Harrison has remained limited in practices this week because of the knee injury that has caused him to miss three of the last four games. Harrison lobbied the coaches to play in last weekend's loss to the New England Patriots but was held out by Coach Tony Dungy, who wanted to try to ensure that Harrison would be healthy for the remainder of the season.

Rookie wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez now is sidelined by a dislocated thumb, and tight end Dallas Clark hasn't practiced all week because of a concussion.
