Texans Lineman Sues City, Police
Texans offensive lineman Fred Weary filed a lawsuit in federal court against the city of Houston and two police officers alleging excessive force, assault, racial profiling, false imprisonment and malicious prosecution
Weary was arrested and shot with a Taser gun after a traffic stop last November, but a charge of resisting arrest against him was later dismissed because of insufficient evidence.
His lawsuit asks for unspecified damages.
