Parcells Says He's Unsure About Status of Cameron, Mueller
Bill Parcells said in an interview with ESPN that he hasn't decided whether he will retain General Manager Randy Mueller and Coach Cam Cameron once he begins his new job in the Miami Dolphins' front office overseeing the team's football operations.
"I don't have any preconceived ideas going in," Parcells told the network, for which he has worked this season as a studio analyst.
Parcells signed a four-year contract with the Dolphins today. He picked the Dolphins' offer Wednesday over a similar offer from the Atlanta Falcons. He said during today's interview that his familiarity with Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga was a "very, very big factor."
Parcells said he was told by Huizenga that Huizenga will retain controlling interest in the franchise during Parcells's tenure.
