Injuries Piling Up for Titans

The Tennessee Titans will be without wide receiver Roydell Williams for Sunday's playoff game at San Diego.

He suffered a broken ankle in practice Wednesday and underwent surgery today.

The Titans will be shorthanded this weekend. Quarterback Vince Young has been limited in practices by the injured quadriceps muscle that he suffered during last Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts, leaving open the possibility that backup Kerry Collins could play against the Chargers.

Tight end Bo Scaife was placed in the injured reserve list this week because of a lacerated liver sustained in the Colts game. The Titans may have to lean heavily this Sunday on the league's fifth-ranked running game.
