J. Tuck Agrees to Contract Extension With Giants
Defensive end Justin Tuck agreed to a five-year, $30 million contract extension with the New York Giants.
A source this morning confirmed reports that the deal includes $16 million in guaranteed money and runs through the 2013 season.
Tuck, a third-year pro, had 10 sacks this season splitting playing time with Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora. In obvious passing situations, the Giants put Tuck at defensive tackle to get all three on the field.
The Giants led the league in sacks during the regular season and play in Green Bay on Sunday in the NFC title game.
