Packers Reward McCarthy With New Contract
The Green Bay Packers reportedly have rewarded Coach Mike McCarthy with a lucrative new contract.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reported that the team and McCarthy have agreed to a five-year deal worth about $20 million. McCarthy had one season remaining on his previous contract for a salary of approximately $2 million.
The Packers will host the New York Giants in the NFC title game Sunday at Lambeau Field.
