Rivers Scheduled to Start

FOXBOROUGH, Mass.--Philip Rivers indeed is scheduled to start today's AFC championship game at quarterback for the San Diego Chargers.

Rivers hurt his right knee during last Sunday's win at Indianapolis and barely practiced during the week.

The Chargers' concern is how long Rivers will be able to play. Backup Billy Volek would take over if Rivers is unable to finish the game.
