A. Crumpler Close to Deal With Titans

Tight end Alge Crumpler, released by the Atlanta Falcons, is close to a contract agreement with the Tennessee Titans.

The deal, barring any last-second snags, should be completed later tonight or Monday.

Crumpler perhaps could serve as a security-blanket receiver for Titans quarterback Vince Young the way he once did for Falcons quarterback Michael Vick.
