D. Hall Reportedly Headed to Raiders as New Contract Gets Worked Out to Facilitate Trade
Cornerback DeAngelo Hall told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution today that he plans to fly to Oakland on Wednesday and sign a contract with the Raiders by Thursday morning.
That would complete a proposed trade of Hall from the Atlanta Falcons to the Raiders.
"There is just some tweaking of the language that needs to be done, some minor details," Hall told the newspaper. "No deal-breakers."
The Raiders reportedly will send second- and sixth-round draft picks to the Falcons for Hall. The trade was contingent on Hall agreeing to a new contract with the Raiders.
The Falcons have been shopping the cornerback since the NFL scouting combine last month in Indianapolis.
