J. Walker to Raiders, M. Booker Returning to Bears

There are some significant moves tonight involving recently released wide receivers.

Javon Walker, cut by the Denver Broncos, has agreed to a huge deal with the Oakland Raiders. His six-year, $55 million contract includes $16 million in guaranteed money.

Marty Booker, released by the Miami Dolphins, has agreed to a deal with his previous club, the Chicago Bears. The Bears needed help at the position after releasing Muhsin Muhammad and losing Bernard Berrian as a free agent.

In other moves:

Running back T.J. Duckett, most recently of Detroit, has reached a contract agreement with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added linebackers Teddy Lehman and Leon Joe.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have added defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy. The Bears, who had written a right of first refusal into Kennedy's contract, giving them the right to retain him by matching any contract offer, declined to match the Jaguars' modest one-year, $705,000 deal.

Running back Maurice Hicks, formerly of San Francisco, agreed to a deal with Minnesota.

The Raiders, in addition to Walker, added offensive tackle Kwame Harris, formerly of the 49ers. He agreed to a three-year, $14 million contract.

The New York Jets released offensive tackle Anthony Clement.
