T. Green Drawing Free Agent Interest

It was thought that quarterback Trent Green likely was headed to retirement when he suffered his second serious concussion in two seasons this past season while with the Miami Dolphins.

But Green has received medical clearance to resume his career and, after being released by the Dolphins, is drawing free agent interest from the New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Rams.

Each team is looking for a backup, for Drew Brees in New Orleans and Marc Bulger in St. Louis. The Rams are one of Green's former teams and turned to him after being unable to sign Todd Collins, who re-signed with the Washington Redskins.
