Delhomme's Recovery Program Reportedly About to Include Throwing

Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme reportedly is scheduled to begin throwing footballs today as he works his way back from elbow surgery.

The Gaston Gazette reported that Delhomme's recovery is on schedule and Panthers trainer Ryan Vermillion is to monitor the quarterback's throwing program.

The Panthers are counting on Delhomme to come back from his elbow injury to reclaim the starting job for next season.
