Greetings From New York, Looking Like Chris Long Second

NEW YORK--I've made it to New York and Radio City Music Hall, an ornate but odd setting for the draft. Pre-draft organ music just doesn't seem quite right.

The Dolphins already signed Michigan offensive tackle Jake Long to be the top overall pick. It looks like the Rams are prepared to choose Virginia defensive end Chris Long with the second selection. They apparently have decided to go with Long over LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey.

If that holds true, and the Saints or someone else doesn't make a late bid to trade into the No. 2 spot, that would leave the Falcons choosing between Dorsey and Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan at third. The pre-draft rumblings here in New York are that the Falcons are leaning toward Ryan, but that's far from certain.

Mark, There goes every mock draft. They all had the Rams taking Dorsey.

Yeah, I always thought mock drafts were dead on...
