Notable Games
After a quick once-over of the schedule, here are some notable games:
Week 1:
Redskins at Giants... The Redskins' rookie head coach, Jim Zorn, must visit the defending Super Bowl champions in his debut in the league's season opener.
Jets at Dolphins... New Dolphins front office czar Bill Parcells opens against one of his former teams.
Chiefs at Patriots... The Patriots open at home at 1 p.m., putting their 19-game regular season winning streak on the line.
Cowboys at Browns... Tough opener for the Cowboys after last season's playoff folding act.
Bears at Colts... Colts open their new stadium in season's first Sunday night game.
Vikings at Packers... Aaron Rodgers makes his starting quarterback debut for the Packers on a Monday night.
Week 2:
Patriots at Jets... The two old friends waste little time getting back together.
Steelers at Browns... A tough early test for two would-be contenders.
Eagles at Cowboys... A Week 2 Monday nighter between NFC East foes.
Week 3:
Jaguars at Colts... Can the Jaguars send an early message that they're ready to overtake the Colts for divisional supremacy?
Week 4:
Redskins at Cowboys... Tough early stretch for Zorn and the Redskins.
Week 5:
Redskins at Eagles... See above.
Week 6:
Patriots at Chargers... AFC title game rematch comes in San Diego.
Week 7:
Ravens at Dolphins... The Dolphins get to host the one team they beat last season.
Week 8:
Chargers at Saints... The NFL goes back to London.
Week 9:
Cowboys at Giants... Tony Romo most likely won't take a high-profile vacation to get ready for this one.
Patriots at Colts... The annual get-together between the two AFC titans comes on a Sunday night.
Steelers at Redskins... The Redskins host a Monday nighter.
Week 10:
Colts at Steelers... A tough set of back-to-back games for the Colts.
Week 11:
Jets at Patriots... The rematch comes on a Thursday night on the NFL Network.
Week 12:
Colts at Chargers... Peyton Manning threw six interceptions the last time he played in San Diego.
Week 13:
Steelers at Patriots... You can start to see why the Steelers' schedule is regarded as the league's toughest. It seems like they play everyone good.
Week 14:
Dolphins at Bills... The Bills play a home game in Toronto.
Week 15:
Giants at Cowboys... The Giants return to the scene of their playoff upset.
Week 16:
Colts at Jaguars... A Thursday night game that could be a good one if there are playoff ramifications.
Week 17:
Patriots at Bills... It's not on the NFL Network, so there probably won't be a three-network simulcast if the Patriots are going for a second straight 16-0 regular season.

Wow - nice break for the Fish. I bet they're pulling for the Bills to move to that nice, warm dome.

what about the Redskins at Seattle. that will be a very notable. not only would it be Coach Zorn returning to Seattle, but it will be against the the team that has kept the redskins from going any further in the playoffs the skins last 2 attempts ( 05 and 07 season ).
