Dolphins Announce J. Taylor Won't Be At Training Camp With Them
Miami Dolphins Coach Tony Sparano announced today that defensive end Jason Taylor won't attend offseason practices or training camp with the team.
Sparano told reporters he'd have no further comment on the matter.
Taylor has been absent from the Dolphins' offseason activities while participating in the televised dancing competition on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars." There reportedly is a rift between Taylor and new Dolphins front office chief Bill Parcells.
Parcells has said that Taylor will play for the Dolphins next season if he doesn't retire. But the Dolphins reportedly have discussed a potential trade of the former NFL defensive player of the year with other teams as recently as draft weekend.
