Saints Reportedly Join Bengals In Running for S. Alexander
The New Orleans Saints reportedly are interested in free agent tailback Shaun Alexander.
The NFL Network is reporting that Alexander, the former league most valuable player released by the Seattle Seahawks, will visit New Orleans after completing today's scheduled visit to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Saints' interest is intriguing because the team already has Deuce McAllister and Reggie Bush at tailback. Signing Alexander might mean that the Saints would consider releasing McAllister.
