J. Plummer, Bucs Reach Settlement

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reached a settlement with retired quarterback Jake Plummer.

According to the Tampa Tribune, Plummer has agreed to repay half the $7 million in bonus money that the Buccaneers had been seeking to force him to return.

The money will be given to the Buccaneers even though Plummer originally signed the contract with the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos traded Plummer to the Buccaneers before last season and he never played for Tampa.
