Ogden Set to Make Retirement Official

Baltimore Ravens left tackle Jonathan Ogden told the Baltimore Sun that he has decided to retire.

Ogden, 33, was one of the best offensive linemen in the sport for most of his 12 seasons but had been plagued by a toe injury.

He'd been expected to retire this offseason but had not made the decision official. The announcement is to come Thursday, the Sun reported.

"I tried to work out," Ogden told the newspaper. "I tried to practice on the toe. But it never came back to 100 percent."
