Shockey, J. Reese Reportedly Exchange Words

Tight end Jeremy Shockey reportedly got into a heated verbal confrontation with General Manager Jerry Reese during the New York Giants' minicamp this week.

The yelling match was first reported by the Bergen Record.

The details remain unclear. Shockey showed up at the minicamp after saying last weekend that he might not attend.

Speaking to reporters at a public appearance last weekend, Shockey expressed dissatisfaction with the media reports earlier in the offseason that he would welcome a trade.

Trade speculation has surrounded Shockey since an injury forced him to miss the team's run to a Super Bowl title.
