Strahan Says Even An $8 Million Salary Wouldn't Have Kept Him Around

Michael Strahan had his retirement news conference today and gave a dignified farewell address.

Among the things he said was that the New York Giants could not have influenced him to play another season by offering to double his salary to $8 million.

Strahan said his decision wasn't about money, but about his lack of desire to keep playing.
