Titans Linebacker Fowler Reportedly Facing Possible Suspension

According to reports, Tennessee Titans linebacker Ryan Fowler was informed by the league in a letter that he is facing a possible suspension for violating the NFL's policy against performance-enhancing drugs.

The possible discipline by the league apparently has arisen from information supplied by Plano, Tex., personal trainer David Jacobs, a convicted steroid dealer who was found shot to death in his home last week. Jacobs's death was ruled a suicide.

Jacobs met last month with NFL representatives.

Fowler's attorney denied accusations of wrongdoing to several media outlets. A hearing reportedly is being scheduled.

The accusation against Fowler, who spent last season with the Titans after three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, was first reported by ESPN.
