Key NFL Question No. 6: How Worrisome Should Peyton Manning's Knee Injury Be to the Colts?
My thought:
Not very.
Manning underwent knee surgery Monday to have an inflamed bursa sac removed from his left knee. The procedure is to be followed by a 4-6 week recovery period.
That very well could leave Manning missing all of training camp and the entire preseason. But so what? It's not like he needs to learn the offensive system. As long as he gets a week or so of preparation before the regular season, he should be fine. He's played all 160 regular season games in his 10-year NFL career, so it would take something significant to keep him out of the Colts' opening day lineup.

I's not a Colts fan, but from watching Peyton Manning play and not miss a game and his dedication I don't think he will allow this injury to miss a game. He always has had a strong will and motivation to win and even if that makes him cocky so what? He deserves it. He is an awesome QB and I like to watch him work his magic under pressure. I bet you he'll be there, the first preseason game with the Panthers, my team, and I'm sure he will play his best like he always does.
