Pearson v. Custom Cleaners

9:40 a.m.: The trial kicks off. There are more press than family. Courtroom 415 of D.C. Superior Court is standing room only. Soo and Jin Chung arrived an hour ago, sitting to the left, both wearing glasses and headphones (presumably to get a translation). Roy Pearson showed up at 9:15 wearing a well-pressed blue pinstriped suit and purple tie. He greeted the press and joked: "A lot of you have wanted to speak with me."

"A lot of you have wanted to speak with me."

A lot of us following this story would like to let our fists do the talking, but we're not bullies, like "Judge" Pearson.

There is no courtroom 415 in D.C. Superior Court. Judge Bartnoff is a woman, but you refer to her as "him". Are you sure you really went to this trial?

Can the presiding judge please throw out this case along with this Pearson guy and bar him from the law profession. He has clearly demonstrated how low a human can go. He's not just a mockery to the US legal system, he has become an international clown.
