YOU MUST WATCH THIS VIDEO

I don't want to ruin this video, so here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to post the video, with only a few key pieces of information you would need to understand it. Around 10 a.m. Eastern time, I will post the text of what happened, for those unable to watch video.

Key fact 1: Phyllis Richman used to be the food critic at The Post, and is one of the most accomplished food critics in American history.

Key fact 2: Roberto Donna is the chef Galileo da Roberto Donna in downtown Washington and one of the most famous chefs in America. He is a native of Turin, and came home this week to tape several spots for the "Today" show about Piedmontese cooking. The food section of The Post asked me to track him down, and I agreed, but I had done nothing to follow through on that plan.

Key fact 3: My boss is really into Web video, if that wasn't already clear. To make him happy, Tuesday evening I decided to take my camera and run down to the small business I had previously dubbed the Official Cheese Shoppe of these games, just before closing time.

Key fact 4: The woman helping me in this video is Angela, whom I've previously discussed. She speaks only a little English, and I speak no Italian.

You rock dude... who knew that six degrees (Celsius of course) connection was a reality.

Did you hondle an invite to Roberto's Mom's house for the NBC taping?
Meet Katie? Does she really giggle a lot?
What rates better and gets you the real 'cheese' Washington Post or NYTimes or the Scarmento Bee credentials? Or is paper dead and it is all video?

C'mon - you didn't know that was Donna? After his famous crash and burn on Iron Chef America? I was practically begging my wife for permission to drop $300 or so for a romantic dinner at Galileo (in the Laboratorio del Galileo part), and then we saw him on ICA and she just laughed in my face. Oh well, 300 bucks buys a lot fondue at the Melting Pot.

I am confused by your Phyllis Richman reference, did Roberto mention her? He kind of didn't seem to recognize the Wash Post, or at least he wasn't listening to you, since you had to repeat it several times.
