What Not to Bring to the Mass

Leave the banners proclaiming "Pope Benny ROCKS" at home...Here's a list from the Archdiocese of Washington of what you can't bring into the Nationals Park for the Thursday Mass: Metal, plastic or glass containers of any kind; backpacks and large bags; large flags or banners, poles and staffs, weapons and illegal substances; fireworks; whistles, food and beverages, tripods and video cameras. Take note of that last item; no video cameras allowed. But we assume no one can complain if you shoot video from your cell phone. If you're close enough to see anything.

Oh, and leave your anti-Catholic prejudices behind as well.
