New Silent Hill Prequel for PSP

Just met with Konami -- they revealed details of their new Silent Hill title coming in 2007 for the PSP mobile platfrom.

It's called Silent Hill: Origins -- that's sort of a working title -- and it's a prequel to all the Silent Hill games over the years.

The premise is that you're a truck driver who wrecks his truck and ends up in Silent Hill, W.Va., where a lot of people end up going to.

It turns out he has an interesting past, and as you discover your character's past you learn the origins of Silent Hill itself.

The Konami people told me there was a chance it could move up and ship a little sooner.
