A New TiVo for Comcast Customers?

LAS VEGAS - TiVo is showing off the Comcast version of its digital video recorder, with the same look, sound and feel of existing TiVo devices. Even Comcast's program guide and on-demand interface have redone appropriately (i.e., no ads in the guide). But Comcast users will have to wait a while before they can put this under their TVs: while the cable operator is now testing the device, these trials have months to go. TiVo reps wouldn't suggest a ship date any more specifc than "this year."
And many key details - for instance, price, upgrade options for users of Comcast's current DVR and support for TiVoToGo video sharing - await decisions by Comcast.
