The iPod: 100 Million Sold

Apple announced today that the iPod has just passed 100 million mark, in terms of units sold, in five-and-a-half years of its existence.
That's equal to roughly half the number of cell phones in use in the U.S. It's also equal to the number of households in the U.S.
