Pretty Quiet, But Here's A New One

While almost all of the signings during the the early period that starts today had been previously announced, one new commitment is DeMatha guard Marlin Cribbs to Mount St. Mary's. Cribbs had been expected to accept a scholarship offer to the Mount, but it was uncertain whether he would sign now or in April.

Other DeMatha players signing today include center Jerai Grant (Clemson), guard Isaiah Tate (George Mason), All-Met guard Austin Freeman (Georgetown) and guard Joe Smith with Division III St. Mary's (Md.). Guard Jeff Peterson has committed to Princeton but the Ivy League does not participate in the National Letter-of-Intent program.
