Tech News; Greenberg Speaks (Briefly) About Gilchrist
It's been a busy week for the recruiters in Blacksburg. The football team received a commitment earlier in the week from Stone Bridge DB Jeron Gouveia and today comes word that the Hokies have added a recruit apiece in football and basketball. The basketball team added point guard Hank Thorns of Las Vegas and the football team added rising senior LB Jake Johnson of Stafford High.
Basketball coach Seth Greenberg also issued a statement about Augustus Gilchrist, confirming the player is bound for prep school but saying little more other than Gilchrist has not asked for a release from his letter-of-intent.

Gus has already said he changed his mind and didn't want to attend Virginia Tech. He has more college options now and I just don't see him at VT.
