Gilchrist's Next Stop to Be In Virginia?
Maybe, but not likely to be in Blacksburg or Charlottesville.
Notre Dame Academy Coach Tim Fudd said he has been contacted by the personal trainer for Augustus Gilchrist about the possibility of Gilchrist enrolling at the Middleburg school that has pumped up its basketball program in recent years.
However, Fudd declined to comment further and said that it was premature to discuss whether Gilchrist - who backed off his scholarship to Virginia Tech this spring, a decision he attributed to the April shootings in Blacksburg - would wind up at Notre Dame.
"We've been contacted, but as far as anything else, I really don't know," Fudd said. "I know they're looking at other situations as well."

when did notre dame become the fifth year program? didn't they have 4-5 reclasses last year? seems like a former great program is looking for an easier way to success rather than developing players. hope that's not the case. maybe they should become a prep school.
