QO's Kerr Is a Marked Man

Quince Orchard lineman Zach Kerr went to Maryland's one-day camp earlier this week and received a scholarship offer from the Terrapins, Cougars Coach Dave Mencarini reports. Kerr ran the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds and showed off an impressive 31-inch vertical leap. He already held offers from Virginia Tech, Penn State, Illinois, Syracuse, Connecticut and about a dozen other schools; Mencarini expects North Carolina to join that list soon. Kerr could make a decision sometime this summer.

"Friedgen came by in the spring," Mencarini said. "He's someone they're very hot after."
