Former Carroll Standout Still Hopes to Qualify

Former Carroll standout Jamar Samuels is hoping to suit up for the Kansas State basketball team this season. He's one of two K-State recruits who failed to meet the NCAA's minimum academic standards and is currently taking one class at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Mass.
